In 2006, using our great grandmother Lala's recipe, we started McClure's Pickles after years of making pickles in our tiny Michigan kitchen. We learned how to make the pickles from our grandfather and parents and now we continue the tradition with a bit more room. We make the pickles, relish, bloody mary mix and other McClure's products in Detroit, Michigan. In Brooklyn we have a small marketing, sales and order management office.
Gary and the crew travel to Milwaukee to meet with the "Gouda Girls" to find out how they started an award-winning grilled cheese food truck. Then they head to Detroit to talk to "McClure’s Pickles", who started a pickle company that went from the farmers market to a global brand. Last, they stop by Pittsburgh to meet with "House of the Dead", a zombie store that has customers dying to buy some zombie swag.
